PHOTOGRAPHER.   TRAVEL JUNKIE.    STORYTELLER.

MOST LIKELY TO ORDER TEQUILA.   FILM FANATIC.

PROFESSIONAL THIRD WHEEL.

17 years later + I feel so lucky to be living that girl’s dream every day, capturing memories on film + encouraging the couples I work with to be their unapologetic selves every step of the way. Weddings are fascinating microcosms of the human experience, full of stories to tell from beginning to end.

When I’m not behind the lens you can find me near any open body of water, laughing with friends, dancing poorly to whatever is blasting through my headphones, on the wheel at a pottery studio, or trying out a funky new wine bar in the city.

I’ll always show up as my true self so you feel empowered to do the same - because that’s what makes life worth documenting.

I'M SAMANTHA

/ BUT YOU CAN CALL ME SAM

I’ve always been the girl with a camera in hand. Documenting the people in my life in every way imaginable - from the quiet moments of everyday life to now cringe worthy tween photoshoots. But it wasn’t until I hit that high school photo class that I learned the ins + outs of how cameras really worked…from then on, I was hooked.

One fateful day, my teacher brought a wedding photographer in to speak to our class + something inside me lit up. It’s not often that you meet a high school kid that can say with conviction what they want to do when they grow up, but from that day on I was that kid. Confidently telling anyone that would listen I wanted to be a wedding photographer. Well, that or a photographer for Rolling Stone (and if we’re being honest, I haven’t given up on that just yet).
